Hey everyone!
Wrote a lil post a few days ago but tonight is the first chance i’ve really had to get on here as i had my op on monday 10th with mr mounir at preston. I had a 375cc hp implant in my left and a 400cc hp implant in my right, to even out assymetry that i already had, i had partially under the muscle. Im a size 6/8 and weigh 50kg and im 5ft3. I have to say the journey to the hospital i started to feel very scared, upset, nervous and emotional. By the time i was in my gown in my room i was sobbing i was so scared. Everyone at the hospital was lovely and calming but it just wasnt helping me. Id arrange to come home the same day but i really regret that. After coming round from my anaesthetic i was woozy and sleepy and then when i started to wake up and get around the nausea hit me. I was sick four times in the room and they wouldnt let me leave until i assured them i felt better. Left for the 30 min journey home and as soon as i arrived i was shaky, sick, dizzy, and began vomitting again. My grandma and mum who have both been nurses in the NHS were caring for me and said my BP and heart rate dropped, i was white, and vomitng ALOT. Couldnt keep my eyes open and dont remember much. Was given co-codamol by the hospital but was vomiting the medication up so had little pain relief. Mum rang the nurse and she confirmed what my mum had said – that i was having a bad reaction to the anaesthetic. This feeling lasted about 24 hours in which i had sweaty fevers and vomiting. As soon as i could drink a little and start to eat again i felt a bit better but was way behind on my painkillers so was in agony. Constipated for almost four days after the op, then diarhea. My stomach is bloated and im swollen on my hips, ribs and armpits and of course my chest/boobs. Im in ALOT of pain alot of the time. In the last two days ive developed bruising on my ribs towards my back? I am gutted as i thought i would be up and about within a couple of days but i have spent a week in serious pain. I expected some soreness but i was not prepared for this. Im tired alot, cant sleep and my back is in pieces even sleeping with two v pillows 🙁 Sorry for the rant but i just needed to vent my boyfriend is sick of listening to me 🙁 im not a moaner, im usually quite tolerant of pain but this is something else. I was expecting to be so excited about my new boobies but ive felt so depressed because of the pain and frustrated at how hard it is to get around and how little i can do 🙁 i cant look or touch my boobs without feeling nauseaous and i would LOVE a shower! i have my one week post op on tuesday 🙁 My PC has been texting to see how i am and the nurse did call backs the three days after my surgery to check how i was getting on and advised me to change to paracetamol/ibuprofen instead of the co-codamol as that was probably making me sick too.
Sorry to go on but im just fed up! I know we all support each other on here so thought this was the best place to get everything off my swollen and sore chest!
Has anyone else felt this bad? Im just looking for some light at the end of the tunnel.. . when will it get better?!
xxxxx
Hey huni just read your post the no way they should have let you go home like I’m not a mya but THG and my 1st op I stayed in over night with uplift and implants 2nd needed a my implants replaced they put in as day case and said if wasn’t up n about and not 100% they wouldn’t let me go home which I was good to I’m due my op 28th nov and having my implants replaced due toCapsular Contracture and they asked me if I want to stay the night or be day case it’s up to me so anyway about your sleeping you got your pillow yeah you need to get a long sausage pillow to put under the back of your knees so this will help take pressure off your back and stop you from slipping down n the night if your unsure in wot said let me know and il stick a pic up in my album to show wot I mean this will a treat xx
Hey candice. Sorry to hear you’ve had a bad recovery! I was exactly the same 🙁 I had my op at Preston too but they kept me in overnight as there was no way I could have gone hone I couldn’t wake up! They tried to get me to walk around but I almost passed out and had such bad nausea. By blood pressure dropped really low so the doctor said I should stay in as I wasn’t fit to go home. I was the same as you after my op I just expected a few days of soreness nothing compared to what I actually had but after day 5 I had a total turn around and suddenly felt fine. I’m 2 weeks post op tomorrow and still have yellow bruising on my side which is a bit sore! It’s only the last few days I’ve noticed it too. I know exactly how you feel I regretted my op for the first 5 days! It does get better and when you see them changing and how fab they look it makes it all worth while! 🙂 xxx
