Who went away sooner than 2 weeks PO? My consultant seemed so keen to get me in for late space that upon her asking nurse if it was ok she told me it was – only to find out today at pre op medical I’m breaching terms and conditions by going away 1 week PO. I feel disgusted and mis led but I’m trying not to think about it too much as it’ll only take over the excitement and I’ll get really emotional.
Did any other girls go away before recommended? I’m flying to Rome and will be there only for 3 days
I am, I’m going to Iceland tomorrow, I’ve been told the same but as long as you wear compression socks for the flight (like the socks you wore on op day) and a very very supportive sports bra) we should be fine, just need to make sure we don’t over do it and take regular breaks, I went back to work today and my backs killing me, also been told to keep my incisions covered and clean x
