So, I’m 9 days post op and just had my strapping removed and my 1 week check up.
Strapping has left me with weeping blisters at my ribs under my arms, although I’m not happy about this, my results are amazing!!
Right boob is higher, as I’m right handed so still has a bit more dropping to do, but im amazed at how great they look already. I nearly cried when I looked in the mirror!!
They look so much bigger than I ever expected!! Even the nurse said I’m going to have great boobs once they properly settle.
I’ve had new dressings on as I have a little bit where I’m not healed – but I can shower from Saturday 😀 Yey!!
I’m going to put up some pictures, although they look a bit wonky still :/
Xx
Awwww sounds so good hun im so happy for you gonna add you now if you don’t mind!! Who was your surgeon that did the magic?? I’m having 375 high profile on 7th December, so excited xxxx
Hey Viki, how are you feeling, are you in any pain? Just had a look at your pics and the size looks great! I’m still so unsure about what size to get, chose 300cc like you but wondering whether to go bigger, yours look a nice size though. Hope your blisters heal soon and that you’re happy with your new boobs! 🙂 x
They look fab. Kristy Everyone says always go for the biggest offered xxx
They look absolutely fab hun. Bet your so pleased x
Added ladies xx
I’m pleased, but recovery is months long, very excited to see how they look in a couple more months 🙂
I’d say trust your surgeon re: size, this size is perfect so glad I didn’t go bigger x
Your pics look great viki! You did well with ur strapping on for 9 days…mine was half hanging off by day 4!! I have way more bruising than u seem to have. Did they keep ur dressings on???
hi vicki at least you have got over the worst and are on the mend now, ive got mine on the 9th and iam a bit scared now and just cant wait for it to be over, hope u dont mind me adding you
Don’t be scared Stacey! It’s the best thing you can do for yourself and confidence.
Thanks Paula, They put fresh dressings on just for a couple of days to ensure my incisions are fully closed before I shower. Just a cautious clinic nurse I think. Can take them off myself on Saturday xx
Re: bruising, I took Arnica after surgery 4 times a day – has worked a treat xx
That’s where I’ve obviously gone wrong I am literally black and blue (and becoming yellow today!). Although my wounds were fully healed at day 5.
What size did you ask to be? And do u know what size u are yet?
Arnica is amazing, get some now even though surgery has gone, you’ll see a massive difference – I asked to be a full C but the nurse yesterday said I’m still snug in my 34D sports bra so I’ll probably be a 32D so I’m very happy 🙂 x
Thanks!
I asked for a c too
I was measured last week as a 34dd/32e but I don’t think they look like that. So I’m just curious about other people haha!
I will get some arnica today, honestly I’m so bruised! It’s not painful really just looks a mess
im due mine on the 12th i sent a friend request is the blisters from a reaction to the strapping do you think? hope you heal quickly x
The blisters are from her ripping off the strapping – it took the skin off and left it raw underneath. She wasn’t gentle! X
Wow they look amazing Hun! Just on the way to have my strapping taken off now I can’t wait! How did you last 9 days with it on I salute you! Xx
Enjoy the big reveal Lauren!! Can’t wait to see 🙂 x
I got measured in John Lewis and also debenhams. I was struggling with sports bras everything I bought preppy didn’t fit apart from the macom. I has tried loads on and everything was wrong. I’d been trying 34c’s and even 34b’s on and nothing was right .felt completely out of my depth!!!
I think I looked lost in John Lewis that day and an assistant took pity on me!! She was actually very helpful. I now realise I have no idea about bra sizing!!! I still don’t get how I measure 34dd/32e because I think I look small post op. And in my head those bra sizes are big boobs!
I’m still confused by it all!!!
I can’t wait to go and get measured – it’s so exciting!!
You must be over the moon with that size?
I’m also confused with all this sizing business. I’ve always been a 32b, after having my baby and breastfeeding, I was a 32a (barely). I’m currently in a 34D sports bra as was advised by the nurse before my op. I now have marks where it’s too tight on my actual boob at the front? so i’m thinking I’m actually a DD at the minute.
I don’t bloody know! haha.
I will just wait until after my check on 3rd Jan and be running to get measured after 🙂 xx
