Cleaning the glue after the strapping advice! Started by: Karolina

    Post op ladies any advice how can I get rid of the bloody glue after strapping has been taken off. The nurse gave me few wipes but they contain alcohol and it burns my bruised up skin so badly:(Appreciate any help xxx

    Hi Karolina,
    sorry I can’t help with your question yet but I’m getting mine off today, just wondered does it hurt? do they wet it or anything or literally just pull it off? x

    @zanny no they just slowly pull it off but since my skin had a bad reaction to the strapping it wasn’t too pleasant I must say. I just read about olive oil so will try that. Good luck today and let me know how it went xxx

    Ah ok thanks! I think I’ve had a bad reaction too coz a bit came off yesterday and it looked like I had a blister under it! I’m not looking forward to it. xx

    I cleaned off my back with sensitive face wipes and just left the front and once I had a bath I used a jug just to let the water run over them and once I got out I tried with the face wipes again but I wasn’t bothered if it was off or not once your sports bras on you can’t see it and for the sake of the pain I would leave it babe after a few days it looses its stick and you can just rub it off xxxx

    I know first 6 weeks is like a prison sentence haha! They are so comfy aren’t they!! Think I’ll keep wearing mine after as well i have the primark ones and they have been the best ones I’ve tried so soft! Xxxx
