    Had my ba today any advice on how to sleep.. Bum has gone dead and I’m on pillows.!so tired 🙁

    Hi Hun has mine Friday not sleeping well myself keep slipping down my mountain of pillows.

    I folded a duvet in half and lay on that i also put lots of cushions behind and around me.. maybe give it a try xx

    Haha couldn’t agree more with the above I’ve been trying to get off since 11 I feel like everything on my right side is so tight and stiff it could rip off!! 🙁 xxx

    I fell asleep but non stop waking up .. This is annoying had my op Thursday and slept fine first two nights .. Tonight however .. 3.39 am and this must beu 4th time awake .. And I mean wide awake .. So annoying !!

    Last night I didn’t sleep I think because my co-codamol run out so I went to the chemist asking for something strong as had surgery so for pain and swelling and was sold the strongest they had however it had caffeine in it, usually added to help u feel better and alert however after taking one at 10am think the caffeine was still working through to the night ! lol so be careful of this. Xx

    It’s awful isn’t it. That’s the only bit that has affected me so far. Got the numbest bum ever. Lol makes it worse with fella next to me snoring and all comfy laid in his pillows haha. So jealous right now. Xx

    Oh tell me about it. I used to sleep on my front and just melt into loads of pillows which is what the old man is doing and I’m here twinging every two minutes, can’t get comfortable ! I enjoyed the first 4 day PO as so drugged up I sleep 12 hours of a night with 1-2 wake ups and about 4-6 hours during the day (resting lol) wish I could have that back ! Lol xx

    This is my first night PO and I can’t sleep. My husband has very kindly opted for the sofa tonight in case he hurts me or makes me to hot. I’m in far more pain then I was expecting even with co codamol. It’s funny, it’s like co codamol only works for the left side and the only thing to help the pain in my right is the ibuprofen.
    Just got up to go to the toilet and very nearly passed out on the way back. Obviously medication making me woozy and overtired as I didn’t sleep much at all last night either.
    Starting to feel kinda stupid for putting myself through all this lol. Especially since I look at them now and worry cause they are bloody massive on me lol. I hope they are just really swollen. Either way I’m sure I’ll get used to them. Just wish I could fast forward this next couple of days.

    Oh so it’s gunna get worse lol noooo. Think tonight will be harder cos it’s 1st night and yeah I normally sleep on my front. I’m trying to turn only side a little and just lay on weight of arm xx

    Sammie how is your pain now? I was seriously hoping I’d be one of those girls who breezed through recovery, typical that I’m not 🙁

    I’m not in pain it’s just aching for me. Feel abit more stiff now. Given up trying to sleep so gunna have to get up lol… Xx
