Hey ladies so I have done it! Admission time was moved from 8am to 7am and when down at 10am and was back in my room for 12am. Can’t believe that I did it and was so calm about it all said how nervous about needles I was so I got gas and air which helped. Although I didn’t like the feeling and next min I was awake from surgery. I wasn’t in that much pain feels like iv just muscles and aches and sore to move. Dr Singh came and said it was fine and all the nurses were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for me. I felt a bit dizzy when I first got up which was a mixture of reason from not eating and the drugs in my system so had to lie down a bit longer then just took it steady. The car journey home was ok had my v pillow and a blanket which I highly recommend. Just make sure you listen to your body and if you start to feel funny stop and sit down as you are probably doing too much. The first night sleep was ok just had a numb bum so trying a pillow under the legs as seen that’s good for pressure. I also set my alarm for 6 to take a pain killer to help easy the pain for when I woke this morning and it seems to have done the trick. I just want the pain to go now so I can get on with things as I’m struggling to not just my arms with movement. Will put some pictures up soon I had 400cc Dr Singh and overs from an a cup. I currently have a 36DD sport bra from M&S which the nurse said fitted perfect and that she’s liked my Asda one and is getting one for herself, said this would be good for when the strapping is off I will see how I feel.
