@rosey I’m afraid I don’t know much about this procedure all I know is that it is common for a surgeon to lower your breast crease during augmentation in order for the breast implant to sit in the right position hun x

I’m also looking for the same answer because I’m also scared that they’ll be too low. They already look like they need an uplift, not lowering?! Tried googling, can’t find many pics but there are a few people on another site that have had it done and theyve all said its been fine and given a good result.
Is this most common for people with tubular breasts? That’s the reason I’ve been offered it

Im having mine lowered and scored aswell i think the scoring is where they free up the breast crease as there is like a tight bit of tissue inside that make ur breast crease so they have to free that up but u have have a slight den for up to 6 months after x hope that helps

The treatment for tuberous breast consists of breast augmentation to increase the size of the breast and to provide a much-improved shape. The inframammary fold is lowered. Radially scoring of the breast tissue is typically necessary to allow the breast tissue to “unfurl” like an umbrella. This allows of the breast tissue to redrape over the implant. Finally a periareolar mastopexy is necessary to narrow the diameter of the areolar and treat the areolar herniation.
