Hi all I was given co-codamol at the fitzroy to come home with but they are really mild ones and are not even taking the edge off the pain! I can’t take ibuprofen as I am allergic to them, do I get in touch with my nurse to get stronger meds or do I just go and see my GPs? Help day 3 is by far the worse so far xxx

Ah babe no way. Day 3 n 4 is probably the worst for me day 5 to 7 i had no pain at all and stopped taking them. Call the nurse an see what else you could take xxx

Poor you 🙁 up to day 5 with me were painful. Ring the nurse and if no joy ring your doctor . I’m day 7 and much better so it will get better I promise xx

I got codeine off mya after op then df118 off docs I’m in absolute agony xx

Am feeling the same way Kelly. At four days post op, the damn co-codamol wears off so quickly and has made me so bloated. Am taking Ibuprofen as well, which helps, but only for a short while. I’ve called my surgery, and waiting for a call back as well. xxx
