hi im 8days into my ba,, and my sleep pattern has changed so much it seems like a thing of the past the tablets you have after really knock you out but when there gone it is hard to get comfertable.. im a little like yourself and like to sleep on my front but honestly dont see that happening any time soon as you must sleep propt up for atleast a week to help with the swelling!! someone told me that after a month or so she was able to lay on her side/stomache but found it painfull in the morning.

    hope this helps

Hi, I’m 4 weeks post op and can now actually sleep on my front as long as I rest the top part of my chest on the pillow. I can sleep on my side and have no pain in the morning at all now. It’s just uncomfortable for the first couple of weeks that’s all xx

Ahh Sara, it must be getting close for you now!! Good luck! You’ll be able to sleep on your side eventually. The first few nights are a bit uncomfortable but you’ll quickly adjust. After a couple of weeks sleeping on your side prob won’t be a problem. I’m fine now xx

Wow, you’ve only got like 6 days! you know, surgery is a big deal, we don’t do it because its an easy decision we do it beause we want to finally feel good about our bodies, some people just don’t get that! You will have lots of negative and anxious thoughts but it is perfectly normal! xx
