Hi girls, sorry in advance as know this has probably been asked loads of times! What does high profile, moderate etc mean? What the difference between them? I’m so clueless lol. Tia x
Hey lovely no worried that’s what this forum is for! High profile has more projection, moderate plus is in between and moderate is a flatter implant with less projection and a bit wider. Depends what look you want and how wide your chest is as to what is best for you xx
Ahh okay, thank you! So a ‘perkier’ looking (not sure how else to put it) high sitting implant would be high profile? I’ve had a baby and had slight sagging so want them nice and perky, high sitting now! X
The wider the implant the smaller projection and vice Versa xxx
Thank you, you girls are always so helpful. So stressful choosing the right ones. X
Don’t worry I know it’s daunting! But if you speak to your surgeon about the look you want to achieve and they have a look at you they will know what’s right for you 🙂 xx
i didnt get a choice on profiles, my surgeon said i’d need HP as my boob is so empty at the top!
so i think your surgeon decides what profile you have based on what you already have and what you hope to achieve, i only know because i questioned it, i really dont want my boobs to look round and thought HPs might make them look to round but he said it will just give me some boob up top as atm i only have anything towards the bottom and my upper chest is just skin and bone. xxx
I sound similar to you Vanessa. Skin and bone up top for me too, feels horrible! Think I’m going to ask about HPs as sounds like the best option for me xx
My surgeon chose the implant for me, as I don’t have a choice but to have high profile or else the implant would be visible at the sides. Just tell them what you want, I wanted fuller at the top and perky… And he knew straight away and by examining me 🙂 goodluck! xo
I’m not having my op with MYA and the surgeon I saw didn’t mention anything about profiles when I had my consultation. I guess he’ll discuss it at my apt 2 weeks before op. Can you have high profiles over muscle or do they have to be under? I’m thinking of having overs. Xx
