hi girls, i have bought a shock absorber for my sports bra, but have also just bought two from tesco in black and white which on the website were described as “medium impact”.
i wondered how long you all felt you needed to wear the extra supportive ones? as i see a lot of girls photos of quite soft bras that dont look that supportive?
    thanks in advance 🙂 xx

My bras are very supportive Hun . I’ve got 3 marks and spencer ones. One has a zip front , I tried a shock absorber but could barely breathe in it lol x

yeah 6 weeks unfortunately! yeah i think it’s okay but you just need to wear it as much as possible to make sure your incisions can heal without too much weight on them xx

Hiya, hope you don’t mind the add. My friend just got hers done and went to m&s a few days post op and they measure what size sports bra they thought she needed and recommended one to suit her as they do post surgery bras. May be a thought if you don’t like the ones you have post op xx

I just stuck with the shock ab all the way I didn’t use the zip ups ones as they can weaken in the middle for me anyway with a full uplift / implants and that’s wear U need the strength its so important to have a good strong bra as this has to hold the weight of the implants up and off your scarring to give them time to heal right and reduce the chance of thick scarring and helps to reduce the sagging of the skin with the implants as it can stop the weight of them dragging them down x

I’ve heard that a lot of girls get used to the comfort and support of a sports bra and even after 6 weeks tend to wear them more! I’m only having small implants so hopefully after 6 weeks I can get away with wearing bras like be Calvin Klein crop top ones. Only 11 days now I can hardly contain my excitement!! Xx
