Hi! Good luck tomorrow. Things in my bag for my day case are:
    Antibacterial wipes
    Sports bra
    Pajamas
    Dressing gown
    Slippers
    Front fastening clothes
    Make up for after
    Toothbrush & toothpaste
    iPhone
    iPhone charger
    Book
    Magazine
    iPad or laptop
    Arnica tablets
    Vitamin tablets
    Berocca tablets
    V pillow

I think that’s all I have in my bag. Then I have bio oil and laxatives at home ready for after. Xxx

    Hi Hun,
Don’t take too much you really don’t need and won’t use everything!!
    I’d say the essentials are;
    Dressing gown
    Slippers
    Non metal hair tie
    Magazine/phone charger
    Front fastening top
    Comfy slip on shoes
    V shaped pillow

You will not feel up to applying make up and doing your hair afterwards, trust me! And I was told not to put a sports bra on immediately as the strapping is supportive enough! You will be given all the medication you need and whatever you request (I asked for something to stop the sickness) make sure your clothes are warm as I found when I was cold my muscles tensed up and really hurt!! The v shaped pillow is an absolute god send for the journey home afterwards, could not have been without it!!
    Hope this helps xxxx

    Hi hun,

I was a day case and had Mr. Traynor at Preston last week and wasn’t waiting around at all really, I took my iPad and things and didn’t really need them as there is a TV in the room and nurses are constantly coming in to check your blood pressure etc so the time goes really fast and afterwards you really can’t do anything except rest until it’s time to go home! Good luck xxxxx

I’ve started packing my bag for my op in 4 weeks!!! haha.

    – Front fastening onesie
    – Post-op front fastening bra
    – Really comfty clothes for after such as a big baggy front fastening hoodie, pj bottoms and easy to slip on dolly shoes.
    – My nurse at my pre-op advised against arnica tablets, so I wouldn’t worry if you don’t have them as they give you all the meds you’ll need!

    Goodluck! xo
