Hello girlie’s! This one is for PostOp girls mainly or PreOp if you know any answers! Firstly hope your all recovering fabulously! Had a few questions regarding my surgeon and things:
    -what anasthetic does he use?
    -does he use strapping?
    -what’s he like?
just basically a few Q’s but any info on him would be greatly appreciated I’m quite happy with my choice to be honest and I’m super excited for the 1st of April to come round! I meet him on March 9th so hopefully I’ll be more clued up then 😀
    THANKYOU Xxxxxxxxxxx

    Hey,
I had Mr traynor at preston just over two weeks ago.
I had the option but had General anasthetic
He doesn’t use strapping or drains
And he’s really nice. He’s a little blunt when you meet him at the clinic but on the day of your op he’s totally different. He’s really funny actually, makes daft jokes, he explains everything well if you ask questions. He’s really lovely after the op
(I woke up and cried because of the anasthetic, think I was just overwhelmed, and he was stroking my head and telling me everything was ok until I came round properly haha!)

You have nothing to worry about, you’re in good hands!!xx

No problem!! I’ve actually recovered really really well. Nowhere near as bad as I expected it to be. I’ve hardly had any pain and they’re starting to drop etc now 🙂
I was originally a 32a and I’ve a size 8, about 5ft4. I had 450cc partials (originally wanted overs but he changed his mind on the day haha)
You have every reason to be excited! The hospital is really nice and so are all the staff! I had such an amazing experience. The whole day was just great!
Yeah I was too! I asked him why he doesn’t use strapping and drains and he just said “it hurts getting strapping off, it hurts taking drains out. Why would i put you in more pain than necessary.” And said if you have drains the nurses pay more attention to them than the boobs and if you’re going to leak you’re going to leak so makes no difference!
He really knows his stuff 🙂
And yes, as soon as you’ve come round from the anasthetic etc a nurse comes to help you out it on 🙂 xxxx

Awhh thankyou so much iv read that to my boyfriend and it’s really made us feel reassured and happy about the whole procedure I’m quite excited it feels like ages to go does the 1st of April but then again the end of march sounds very near!! I’m so excited even planning out little things like what sort of meals ill have in the days after iv found these meals that are all ready in little sealed bags like chicken tikka and beef meatballs only £1.99 each with a long date on so I’m gonna have them in the first few days while my arms are weak! I’m constantly looking at sports bras and things that’s my next challenge !! Honestly thankyou so much for thsi im gonna add you xxxxxxxxxxxxx

It’s honestly no problem, if you think of anymore questions feel free to ask 🙂
Trust me it will fly past! It felt ages for me and before I knew it, it was all over and done with!
Aw it’s best to be prepared. The first few days are quite hard but as long as you rest and keep on top of meds you’ll be fine! If you can if swap the cocodamol for paracetamol and Ibuprofen because cocodamol bungs you up pretty bad!
Aw really? They sound really good, they’ll definitely be helpful if they’re easy to make!
If it helps I got a back size bigger (34 instead of 32) than normal because of swelling and I got DD.
Okie doke no problem! What size and placement have you gone for?xxxxx

I have my preop and meet my surgeon on the 9th March so ill let you know then I want partials or under the muscle (so they look natural) and preferably just a reasonable size like 250cc-325cc but ill see what they say xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Aw not long now then! Partials and unders are the same though, I thought they were different too but on the day of my off Mr traynor told me that fully unders aren’t done in the U.K. so everyone on here that has unders have partials so they are only under the muscle at the top 🙂
    Yeah you’ll soon know!!xxxxx

Its great to hear your post. Im 5ft 5. 32a going For a d. Going for 450 partials high profile with dr traynor at Preston. But was hoping will look natural? Im so excited. Nervous about recovery as I have 2 yr old and baby. Xx8

@rachc I’ve had exactly the same as you from the same size and I dont think mine look too fake
I was told I’d be a DD/E with this size implant though so hoping they come out as I expected!
As for recovery it wasn’t too bad but you won’t be able to lift for a few weeks as it’s uncomfortable xx

Can you lean forward? As I was going to be able to change nappies without disturbing anything? Oh really? He have me option of 4 sizes (450 being biggest) but I’ve heard of boob greed and don’t want to regret not getting bigger! Haha. How long can your partner stay with you at hospital? Right up until you go into theatre? Xxx

    Menu

@rachc you will be able to after a few days but you’re bet of resting as much as possible for the first few days doing as little as possible as your arms will be very weak and you won’t be able to lean on them etc. once the first few days are out the way you’ll be fine 🙂
Yeah me too. I went for the biggest I was offered as I’d be disappointed if I was still quite small! Glad I did as I wouldn’t be happy with them any smaller than they are now!
And they stay right up until you go home, they just wait in your room while you have your surgery 🙂 they’ll just have to go in a waiting room for about 20 minutes while they sort your room for you coming back 🙂 xxx

Excellent. Thank you so much. Im trying to get everyone to pitch in and help. Im not used to just lying around so will be strange. I go June. So will let you know how it goes 🙂 I’ve added u. Hope you don’t mind Xx

@rachc it’s no problem! Yeah I had to have my mam/dads help the first two days but after that they were back at work I was trying to do little things myself. Mainly stayed in bed though. Can’t get yourself up with your arms so try to use your stomach muscles to get yourself sat up!
It is strange but you’ll probably be really tired anyway. I slept sooo much!
Yeah do! That’s no problem 🙂 xx
