    Hi girls. Just wondering if anyone has had their surgery at the Newcastle surgery? Just wanting to know people’s experiences… I have my first patient coordinator consultation today, exited much 🙂 I understand I dont get to meet my surgeon today but has anyone went ahead and still booked in before meeting their surgeon? & how long are the waiting lists roughly for surgery date? Xxx

    Hi Rachel, Mya prices are going up from the 1st of March. So if you are sure you want to have it done with MYA, research which surgeon you want to go with and book before the prices go up. My PC told me if I am not happy with my surgeon and changed my mind, I will get a full refund within first 7 days of meeting my surgeon. I wanted to go with Dr Linda because I have read good reviews about her so I booked the surgery before seeing her. Good luck x

    The staff at the Newcastle Clinic are lush. Julie will be your PC and she’s so nice. When I had my surgeon consultation the appointments were running behind, but it was worth the wait 🙂 you’re in good hands! I could have had my op two weeks after my surgeon consultation but I couldn’t get the time off work so had my op a month after. You can book before meeting your surgeon but I had a choice of three surgeons so decided to meet them first xox

    Thank you sehrish. I just wasnt sure if I could book before actually seeing my surgeon. I have a really good feeling about mya so probs will go ahead and book. Ive read up on the surgeons and they all have good reviews, its just which surgeon she recommends really.

    Did u go to the newcastle clinic also? Xx

    Hi @alex. All sounds brilliant. A month waiting list is still brilliant, im hoping to book for around beginning of april, fingers crossed.
    Did u have to go elsewere for the actual op? As ive read a few threads on here saying their consultation was in newcastle but op elsewere? Xx

    yeah it depends on which surgeon you use as to where your op will be!
    Im at the leeds clinc and met my surgeon at the leeds clinic however my op is in Preston xxx

    I am at the Fitzroy which is only like 15/20 minnutes from my house . Yes, you can definitely book before seeing your surgeon. Good luck hun. xx

    Yeah different surgeons go to different hospitals :). The look you want to achieve will also define which surgeon is best for you. I wanted a natural look and to be a day case, so Dr Kazzazi was the best surgeon for me and his hospital is in Doncaster, about two hours away. He’s lovely and his team in Doncaster are the nicest people. Feel free to add me, I’ve got some pics up xo

    Hi hun im with the newcastle clinic.. ive had a fab experience so much so im booking my next op.. julie will be ur pc shes lush.. and yes u can book before seeing the surgeon u can usually have surgery in a matter of weeks if u wanted.. i chose Traynor as my surgeon and had the op at preston x

    Hello, I’m at Newcastle surgery with Julie, I’ve booked my surgery before meeting my surgeon on Monday, its £500 deposit if you book after meeting your surgeon and £1000 deposit if you book before meeting your surgeon x

    Hi @becky. I dont mind putting a deposit down at all so either would be fine. As long as I feel comfortable with mya upon meeting then I know I will want to go ahead. Which surgeon have u gone with. Do u mind if I add u for ur stats? Xx


    @missy    , hotel sound a good idea, will have to see if I can get a sitter though to do that as I have 4 kiddies. Need to get organised hehe. Xx

    That’s good, I was the same I booked loads of appointments all over but felt I liked mya more than anywhere else, ive gone with Dr Tranynor and that’s fine 🙂 xx

    I wasnt going to tell my mum as dont think she will agree with me getting them, its a little awkward. Im sure I can sort something though 🙂

    Yeah I previously had a consultation with a diffrent company and walked out feeling so confused we were only in there 15mins. So fingers crossed I feel more at ease with mya xx
