Not sure if I’m using this right or where this post is gonna go!
I’m booked in for a BA on 14th April and have my consultation with Mr Traynor in just over a week.
I’ll be back in work (teaching assistant working with ages 3&4) on the 20th April. Just wondering if this is too soon and would like some advice about recovery?

Hi Lucy, I work as a TA aswell. I booked my surgery for the 3rd of April as we are breaking up on the 2nd of April. Its my first surgery ever so I dont know how my body is going to heal so I wanted to make sure that I have atleast 2 weeks off after my surgery to heal properly. I personally think you sould have atleast 10 days off work after your surgery. I know working with 3 and 4 year old can be quite physical and tiring. See if you can move it to the first week of April. Its better to be on the safe side. Good luck hun. xx

I asked for that but he’s fully booked until the 14th I’m guessing because of the Easter holidays! I Might request a different clinic/surgeon and earlier date. I had a caesarean and healed really quickly but I’m really nervous about something going wrong. Thanks for the advice Hun hope your op goes well and you heal in time for work! Xxx
