What an amazing day!!
Got there at 7am, my admission time. Settled In and calmed down. Was so nervous.
And my boobs were sat on the table waiting for me. Lol. (Pictured)
About 07:30 I saw the anaesthetist, nurse checked blood pressure and heart rate. I then got changed in to some sexy stockings and a blue gown.
Mr Kazzazi came in to sign some papers, take photos and draw on me.
Didn’t even have time to take photos of the pen marks, I was called straight away in to theatre at 8am.
All the nurses and anaesthetist were so nice. Couldn’t ask for better people.
I had local anaesthetic and sedation. She put the canular in which was a small scratch. She said I’d feel a stinging sensation but I couldn’t. I felt myself drifting in and out of sleep and I could feel myself fighting it to stay awake. They put an oxygen mask on and I was gone.
Next thing I know I’m laying in my bed in my room. I was so confused. Asking my friend how I got there. Lol.
Was apparently out of the sedation at 9am. Out of theatre and back in to my room at 09:20.
I cried when I woke up for no reason. Haha. Felt like I was drunk and confused at what as going on. Within half an hour I was back to normal.
Had some tea and toast. A full bottle of water and half a bottle of lucozade.
At 10:50 I said I felt ready to go home if I was allowed to and they said I could.
Nurse took the canula out and did some more blood pressure checks and I was leaving at 11:30.
Had a McDonalds on the at home and I’ve been sat up watching Netflix in bed since 1pm.
Don’t have any pain as yet, just feels a heaviness on my chest.
I have come away with ibuprofen, paracetamol and some antibiotics so hopefully no constipation thank god. Lol.
Mr Kazzazi and all the staff are so wonderful at Doncaster Clinic. Definitely recommend them to anyone. 😀 xx
