Hi ladies
So as a few of you may know I was due to have my surgery tomo. Due to medical purposes I was waiting for the go ahead from my doctor. I received an update from my pc by text Thursday evening advising everything would be good to go once I saw the nurse and surgeon so called MYA staight away to get things sorted.
I booked in to see the nurse the next day at 10:15 and theN back at 17:00 to see my marcellino. You can only imagine how excited I was feeling so went to the pub to celebrate and have a drink or two.
Next day I arrive at MYA and see the nurse only to be told its unlikely we can proceed even though my doctor had provided the letter. I was told it was best to wait which could be another 6 weeks. I do appreciate the fact MYA takes my health seriously and obviously anything will fall back on them so they need to do what they believe is best. Its just so frustrating and upsetting to have your hopes built up and then to be bought down.
I’m currently on maternity leave and due to go back to work this month so having an op now even though I’ve paid my deposit seems non existent, I won’t be able to take time off and plus I have my 11 month old to look after. I’m going on holiday end of April and now I will be going breastless. My bubba has demolished my boobs, two empty flaps of skin.
Now I’m waiting to hear from my pc again hopefully tomorrow to tell me how we move forward. It’s awful thinking about what should be happening tomorrow, my surgery has been postponed twice I don’t even want to book again in case I’m told I get the go ahead and it’s cancelled again Big sigh.
