So, I had my six week check-up with the nurse yesterday at the Fitzroy clinic. She checked my incisions and said everything looked good and that they were healing nicely. She also ok’d applying oils on the incisions now, and getting back to normal activities like wearing normal bras, going back to the gym, swimming etc.
My only concern now is that my right boob is dropping so much faster and looks almost a cup size bigger than my left one. My right one was a bit fuller/bigger straight after the op but the size difference has become alot more noticeable in the last two weeks. The left boob is still so high up and it’s got this odd curve from the side. I know I need to be patient and that the boobs are two different entities, so will heal/drop at different rates, but this waiting game is sooo bloody frustrating.
I didn’t even go to get measured because I was that disappointed. My boobs were the same size pre-op. Ladies who’ve experienced asymmetry post-op, how long does it take for them to completely even out? I don’t want to be measured as they look so different. xxx
If they were the same pre op then just give it time babe they will even out eventually its still early days.. i have 1 slightly bigger but mine werent perfectly symmetrical pre op x
Im sure they will even out in the next few weeks.. It’s hard trying to be patient /-: and with unders it is a waiting game.. the more I think about mine the more I look in the mirror and pick faults with them which I need to stop doing and be patient!! Have you thought of using a breast band to help aid the other breast down? Its not really mentioned on here nor has anyone at mya mentioned the use of one… But I’ve seen so many women on the Internet who have had implants and used bands to help aid the breasts to drop equally xx
Thanks for the reassurance girls. Am trying not to think about it too much. Will upload a pic later on to show what I mean. xxx
hi hun, hope you dont mind the add! im going for a meeting tonight about it, and just being nosey on different peoples pictures to get size ideas xx
Hi
Hope you don’t mind the add. I’m booked in 2 weeks and am thinking about 425cc. I am also worried about how long they take to settle so would really appreciate seeing how you are doing x
Ah @Sharks im panicing too that I will be disappointed when I see them!! Sure you’ll be fine soon though xo
Hi sharks just had a look at your photos and they both look quite high still. I researched a chest band as well but thankfully right caught up with my left boob. Macom do the chest bands but I don’t know how comfy they are x
You’re right Fiona, they are still a bit high. I was given one of those Macom bands by the nurse after my op and wore it for about two weeks but it was so uncomfortable. I just started wearing it again but it is so difficult to keep on during the night when am sleeping, as that’s the only time I can wear it. I’ll persevere with it though and hope it helps my left boob drop . Thanks for replying. xxx
Thanks for accepting hun. I’m so worried about mine too. My right noob seems to be more drooping to the side. They’re getting more symmetrical now though and I’m on 5 days PO. I hope yours fix themselves soon hun. Keep us updated xx
Hey Hun sorry to hear you’re feeling down ! Just keep looking at that amazing before and after pic! Before you know it they’ll be matching perfectly xxx
Hello, I have one that seems to have dropped and one that is still high up so it’s reassuring that I am not the only person. I believe it can take 6 months for them to settle into the right place?!?
Hey chick you don’t to worry just yet as this still early you need to sit out till your 6months recovery has past over xx
Hey chick you don’t to worry just yet as this still early you need to sit out till your 6months recovery has past over I had to wear my chest band for 8 weeks they really do help the 1-2 weeks it’s uncomfy but you get use to it and then it comes apart of you wear u feel funny when u not wearing it
Thanks Ladies. I’ve been wearing the band now for about three days and am starting to see a little difference. Hopefully the issue will resolve within the next few weeks. I won’t get measured though until am at least 8 weeks post-op. xxx
Hope you don’t mind the add hun, sorry wouldn’t let me message you xx
