    Hi ladies was just wondering whether anyone has any holidays booked after their surgery.

    Are there any restrictions I.e.

    1) Certain time before you can wear a bikini?

    2) Being in the sun

    3) Drinking alcohol.

    I will hopefully be having my op next week/week after and just want to know whether six weeks would be enough time to recover and enjoy myself abroad. I’m quite worried I won’t be able to move around much and that my boobs will look massive from being swollen too, as my sister says it takes 4-6 months to settle?

    It’s the first time I will be meeting my partners dad so dont want the boobs getting in the way lol. I’ve been holding out on buying any bikinis until I’ve got my girlies done which is so hard but i know will be worth the wait xx

    I had my op Monday and in going away in August. By then they’ll deffo be nice and settled. As long you keep them covered and put cream on your scars you’re ok. Not sure about 6 weeks after tho you’d have to contact your pc chick xx

    I’m going abroad 12 weeks post op. I asked my PC and she said this is plenty if time. Alcohol is 2 weeks post op, bikinis 6 weeks (same concept as wearing a bra) and sun is fine as long as you wear total sunblock on your scars, although you can get some gorgeous bikinis which will hide scaring which is what I’m planning on doing after my 6 week check.     Congratulations Suze, I hope everything well. How are you feeling? plenty of time for you to recover before your holiday x

    I will definetely do that thank you for you advice. I just know when I go on holiday I will want to wear a bikini and enjoy the sun. I booked this holiday ages ago it’s just unfortunate that I had to reschedule my op twice sad face x

    Thanks hun! Just keep feeling sick due to meds. very sore and tender but I’m walking about and can use my arms more today. couldn’t even flush a loo yesterday lol and I’m now drinking without a straw I can now hold a cup lol happy days xx

    The bikinis I’ve been looking at cover the scars and come up to your midriff which is good. Are you going anywhere nice? x

    4 weeks for short haul fligts and 6 weeks for long Hun xx

    Awww thanks babe I really need to have these mummy boobies sorted out pronto. I can’t have anything hanging down south when I go lol.
