Hi all – I was hoping for some advice or experiences with correction of tuberous breasts before my consultation. Do you think it will involve uplift aswell as implants? Does this add a lot to procedure price? Any advice would be appreciated!! Pics uploaded.
Hi!
Not sure how much help I’ll be but I’ll try!
I also have tubular breasts and have had my consultation with Mr Traynor. He told me that he could do them without giving me an uplift, but he will move the crease under my breasts so it’s lower, so it’ll give a more natural look and that’s what gives us the saggy appearance. Also because being tubular my areola are ‘puffy’ (I’m sure you’ll understand what I mean!), he’s going to reduce the size of them too. It has made it more expensive, but not as expensive as a full on uplift and also I’m a day case whereas an uplift is overnight.
I think I’ve managed to get away with not having an uplift as I am only quite small. He said I’m about a 32A so I think that’s helped? And I’m getting 350 overs 🙂
Hoped that helped slightly! x
Fab thankyou! I was gonna ask about reducing the size of my areola too as i think that’s half my problem! It’s nice to know I’m not the only one.
Haha I know it helps knowing your not the only one 🙂 what bra size are you at the min? Have you got your meeting with your PC or surgeon booked? I told my PC when I first met her that I had tubular breasts and that I was expecting an uplift. Then she went through prices of just implants and having an uplift as well.
I still have the worry that I’ll still look tubular afterwards. I don’t want huge boobs I just want them to look normal! I’m hoping to be about a 32D afterwards. Because I don’t have a lot of volume on the top (I always describe them as a golf ball in a sock!) they look quite low without a bra on. And with him lowering the crease slightly I’m thinking argh they’ll be down to my waist! Haha he did assure me that they wouldn’t be tho!
Let me know how your consultation goes, I’d like to know what they suggest 🙂 do you know what surgeon you have?
I struggle to find a bra to fit! They’re never ever comfy but usually wear a 32b/c. I’ve not booked yet but will ring tomorrow and get it booked in! I’d love to be around a D aswell! I just want them to stand up on their own so I can wear pretty things! Haha. At 22 I should be able to go braless!! All my friends can! Plus I work in a leisure centre so seeing all the bikini clad ladies kills me! Can’t wait to have my consult!
Hi girls
I am booked in for implants, nipple reduction & uplift in june. I have tubular breasts, one is an A cup and one a B cup. I have quite a large gap in the middle of them and puffy nipples. my surgeon didn’t offer me the crease to be lowered which I am happy about as they already seem low down!
I am stressing over size atm! I am 5ft10 and a size 14 in clothes. I am stuck between 340cc or 380cc. Think I’d like to be a full C maybes a D but not too big. I don’t want to feel fatter, trying my hardest to loose weight atm!!
any feedback you girls could give me would be great x
Hiya 🙂
Well I’m only short, about 5 foot 4, size 12, 32 a/b and I’m having 350 to make me a D. I Had the same problem, I didn’t want to go too big but I want it to look like theyve been done because I always wear padded bras, but I still want to look in proportion! What did you think when you tried both sizes on? To be honest I can’t see the extra 40 being that much bigger. I think is just go with your gut and chose which one you think looks best when you try them on. After I first tried the 350 I thought yeah they’re perfect, after a week or so I was starting to wonder if I should ask if I could go bigger, but after going back to try on the sizers I’ve decided to stick to 350. It’s so hard, you want to chose what will look best but have no idea what the end result will be! I would’ve thought with you being taller you’d be able to carry off bigger ones.
I’m having the same weight loss panic! I booked with 12 weeks to go before my op and I’m now 3 weeks to go and I still weigh the same!! Last minute crash diet needed I think!
Who’s your surgeon and what date are you booked in for? x
