I’ve been having problems with this since I booked my surgery. I was told by my pc that I could keep my dermals in and have them taped up as long as I removed all my others. I asked about plastic retainers/labrets for the rest and they said that was fine. So I’m putting in plastic ones where I can and keeping my dermals in but signing a disclaimer when I get there. I spoke to my surgeon and he said it’s fine for me to have my dermals in but not anything else. It’s just the risk of burns with metal so plastic should be fine honey xx
