    So I’m nearly 3 weeks post op and my nipples/area around my nipples/lower boob are not happy with anything touching them… Sore, sensitive, they don’t like being touched or even material on them… (a towel wrapped around me after my shower is uncomfortable.)

    Is this ‘hypersensitivity’?

    Just wanted to see if this was fairly normal? I just can’t wait to get home from work and sit on my bed naked if I’m honest 🙁

    I don’t know what this could be as I am still pre op but I hope you are ok and it works out that this is normal, which it most probably is! xxx

    Thank you! Having this on top of a constant back ache is not great 🙁 at least I can finally have a glass of wine this weekend and hopefully relax xo

    Snap hun, my nipples are numb but majorly sensitive!!! I’ve also just discovered I have Mondors Cord, slightly painful and uncomfortable! Short term pain, long term gain – is what I keep telling myself!!! lol x

    I havent had my op yet but i’ve read before people have really sensitive nipples after, have you tried covering them with anything before you put your bra on top?
    I’ve just brought some stick on nipple covers off ebay for like a quid, i’m not sure how they’ll be but i thought just incase! I know some people cover them with cotton pads too!

    Yes I had this it was torture and would reduce me to tears , 8 weeks on and it’s loads better xx

    Try breast pads like what you would use if your breast feeding
    just wear them inside your bra to stop the friction on the nipples.
    I suffer with very sore nipples around the time of the month and i do this and it really helps xx

    I’m 3 weeks op and my nipples are exactly the same. I think it’s totally normal and like with anything some people will struggle more than others. x

    Try Breast pads in your bra to stop them rubbing against your bra. You can also buy a cream for sore/cracked nipples from the supermarket pretty sure it’s called lanolin. Worked really well when I was feeding my daughter xxx

    @xxcsb Mine are exactly the same. I’m 3 weeks today. Have to keep shouting at my boyfriend when he moves the duvet across my boobs lol x
