Hey ladies, I’ve been home about an hour all done and dusted!
I arrived at 9am although my time was 9.30 but the lovely nurse took me up to my room right away. She said I would be going down about half ten or a bit earlier. By 10am I had seen the nurse, anesthetist, and Mr kazazzi, who drew on me and took pics. At 10.15 they came to get me. Everyone was brilliant and explained everything that would happen. No sooner was the cannula in and I was out of it, I think by the time I came round it was about 11.40 and I was back in my room, can’t remember getting there though! They brought me tea and toast when I was more “with it” ans said I could go home when I felt able to. We left about 2.45, the drive home was a bit uncomfortable, felt every bump! Ha ha. So far so good, am strapped up so can’t get a proper idea yet but will update in a day or two. Good luck to all you post pop ladies, and really, don’t stress, I worked myself up into a state and now wonder why! Xx

Plenty of rest ladies, keep up with your meds and keep up with the fluids. The first few days are the worst xx

Not too bad, ribs are quite achy this morning and didn’t sleep too well but I’ll catch up today, not planning on doing anything. I can bear the pain with the meds and from what people are saying on here the second and third day’s see to be the worst, hang on in there and keep ha chin up xx @georgiajohnson1
