I am hoping to get my op done around 11th May will be be okay to drink 2nd/3rd as I’m at a festival? Also will I be fully heeled and looking okay for my holiday on the 27th July?

They say don’t drink or smoke for two weeks before and after you’re op, and short haul flights ok after 4 weeks but 6 weeks for long haul. As for what they’ll look like I supose it depends on what you have done ie overs, unders etc and everyone heals and changes individually so could be a bit of a gamble, good luck

@erbing I’m going away to Spain 5 weeks after my op they said il be fine aslong as over 4 weeks may not be able to fully sun bath or swim but who cares il have boobs! Lol an I think it’s alryt to have the odd few glasses but would go on a big piss up within a week of ur op x

Your aloud alcohol up to two days before as long as it’s only a couple and you can’t feel it the day before op.. I went to a concert and had a fair few was fine for op 2 days later! No Alcohol two weeks post op though. Flying is 4 weeks short haul, 6 weeks long xx

thank you everyone! i was confused as ive read lots of different things some pages say no alcohol for 48 hours some say 14 days! might just cancel the festival as i have my holiday too, thanks again xxxx
