Any help/advice would be great…
I have just had a close look at my incisions and have seen that I have still got a stitch in my left incision. I have been informed my the nurse at my local GP surgery that stitches should be removed no longer than a week after any surgery as if they stay in the skin they can cause infection.
I was told they are dissolvable stitches but as I am now nearly 3 weeks post op I am worried this stitch should have been removed as it could cause infection.
I am already on antibiotics for my right incision so do not want my left one to become infected too
