Hi girls,
I’m really on the fence at to whether to get a breast enlargement. I’ve never been happy with the shape of my breasts (although am not overly fussed about the size as such). I’m currently a 32C (according to Ann Summers..however have always worn 34b everywhere else) and think I have tubular breasts. I have very large areola for such small breasts, and so the areola goes down to the bottom hang of my breast. I would also want an areola reduction as part of the procedure. I want them to look as natural as possible and am just concerned that they will look fake and that I won’t like the end result 🙁 The shape I hate so much I wouldn’t dream of posting a picture on here.. even anonymously for advice! It’s because of this shame, I wonder if the result must be better than my opinion of them now… I just can’t decide. My husband loves them as they are but completely understands that I don’t. I hate wearing a bikini – I would love some cleavage and just actually be able to pick any bikini rather than having to use the one I’ve had for the past 4 years because it’s the only one I’ve ever felt remotely comfortable in.
What would you recommend? Did any of you have doubts? Were they eradicated after you saw the results?
Thanks so much for reading this mammoth post! I’d appreciate any advice 🙂
Hi hun,
Have you been for a surgeon consultation yet? If you haven’t I would suggest going for one and discussing exactly what it is you don’t like currently and exactly what you would like to achieve. The surgeon will be able to tell you what is possible and what is not. I think all of us were apprehensive pre-op and it’s completely normal. You will have a much better understanding of everything once you speak to the surgeon x
Hi Lisa,
Unfortunately that is my problem.. I can’t! I currently am an expat living and working as a teacher in Qatar so am only home for 6 weeks in the summer. I want to get it done as soon as I come over so want the consultation to be a few days before the opp.. if possible? That’s why I need to decide now.. 🙁
Ahh I see… well you should make sure to do extensive research firstly so you know exactly what you want to achieve. Write it all down along with questions for the surgeon and be sure to tell Mya that you wish to have the surgery pretty much straight after your consultation. From what you have said I believe that a BA would make you love your boobs more. And would boost your confidence but you have to really know what you want as this is a big decision hun. If you need anything or advice feel free to drop me a message and ill try to help best I can xx ps- ill accept your friend request now x
Hey hun, if you have tubular breasts and your nipples are quite low, you may also need an uplift as well as implants, but that would be the surgeon’s call. You’d definitely have to see one to get an accurate opinion.
I know for a fact that you can have a consultation and surgeon consultation on the same day and if you want it fast enough, I think you could get the whole thing from start to finish in less than 3 weeks (I could have!). However you would need to travel back somehow for the follow up checks, there’s one at 7 days, 6 weeks and 12 weeks.
If you can pay for your procedure in full, or if you can take a late space which it sounds like you could, it would also give you a good discount! xx
Hi Anita, I’ve been the same as you for a long time – not tiny boobs but theyve always been tubular and i lost a lot of weight which left them shapeless and low.
I’ve been for consultations and have booked my surgery as I know this will improve how I feel about my boobs, I know im still not gunna have tiny perfect nipples but the implant will lift from the bottom and my nipples wont be right at the bottom of the boob
I thought i needed an uplfit as well as implants but after a chat with my surgeon he assured me the impants themselves will achieve the lift i need. But this will be different for everyone. Feel free to add me on here as i’ll post pics after the surgery – also look through the friends i already have as some girls have already had their ops who were tubular or “pigeon chested” and their results are really encouraging.
I’m having 350 cc overs on the 29th April with Mr Traynor at the Preston first trust hospital
Good luck 🙂
