@hayley I struggled so bad yesterday with pain I had to shed a few tears, think it was drive home and sitting so still, today I’m a lot better as I’ve been moving about which I find has helped. But I find I keep cups get under my breast as so heavy feel like they going to fall off:). @iram I carnt weight to stop taking them then honest I feel so uncomfortable, iv drank lots of green tea and water I’ll just keep it up:)…the only thing that won’t go away is my numb tongue apparently normal from anaesthetic. Xx

@hayley where are you feeling the most pain? Try sitting in a nice warm bath just enough to cover your lady parts, are you taking 2cocodamol? Xx

I’m naturally prone to bloating which is a nightmare! But I drink a lot of twinings peppermint and nettle tea which works a treat for me and take a few rennies every now and then. I’m hoping these will still work for the serious post op bloat I’ve heard so much about lol xx

It’s the anaesthetic as well as the pain killers and antibiotics I was awful first few days felt like I was going to pop even though I was barely eating because I was so un well. I found drinking loads and loads of water eating planting of fruit and fibre foods did the trick I also stayed away from caffeine it’s helped me x

Hey, actually since writing the last post my pain has significantly decreased! I applied an ice pack and I feel much less swollen on my chest area. The pain seems to change, sometimes it’s mostly down the sides of my ribs, other times my breastbone feels really sore and then sometimes I just feel so swollen and my strapping feels so tight. Right now I probably feel the most comfortable I’ve felt but I’m still having to spend most of the time resting. My children are not impressed especially my little lady who is desperate for a snuggle 🙁
Bloating wise, I look like a fatty haha but going to keep drinking lots of water and eating fruit/veg and I know it will pass.
It’s so nice to speak to others going through the same xxxx

@hayley me and you must be tag team because I now feel so crap I’m in so much pain:(, think it’s because I’m 1hr away from having pain killers. My pain is is the same places as yours, where did you put ice pack? Do you think I should take my Macom bra off? The nurse said wear it for extra support but pc said strapping alone will be fine. Also what are people doing to clean arm pits?? I hate smells! Iv tried wiping with baby wipes only my strapping so high. Xx

Oh god kaylee my strapping is so high too, it’s pissing me off lol! I have been using wipes under my arms and had a very shallow bath to wash my lower body. Not sure if we can use deodorant yet?
Sorry you’re feeling Crap now 🙁 are yours overs or unders? I thought I was pretty hardcore after a completely drug free birth with my first child and breezing through a csection with my twins…. But this has been harder than I thought it would be! I feel so restricted! My strapping comes off Tuesday, can’t wait! But worried about being pulled about to get it off if I still feel so uncomfortable :/ xxx

@hayley I was in so much pain last night I thought my breasts was going to explode they went rock hard and a little warm, put it down to being man handled hense swelling, and I think they wanted to drop but that sticky strapping holding them in place.
I’m with you on child birth cus I think I coped better with that!…today they feel high again that I feel breast above strapping if that makes sense…I can move my arms more:) I had parcials. I’m worried sick about having strapping taken off too as its stuck on like masking tape:( I get mine off on Wednesday. Xx
