    Hey girls,

    I was advised by my nurse to stop using the contraceptive pill 2 weeks pre op.
    I’m unsure when to start taking it again, has anyone else had similar advice/heard anything like this?

    My op date was 21st June and I get my strapping off (or what’s left of it!) tomorrow 🙂

    Oh I’m in the exact same position and was wondering that myself!! Glad you’ve asked 😊 I had my op 21st June and I get my strapping off tomorrow too haha 😃 xx

    I was told to take it 2 weeks after the op 🙂 the nurse told me it doesn’t work while your taking antibiotics so to wait 2 weeks before taking it again xx

    I wasn’t told to stop taking the pill and I’m 3days post op..😅 hasn’t done me any harm takin it xx

    I’m having my strapping off today as well. Is anyone else still in a lot of pain? Xx
