    Hiya, I’m having my Op in 3days at fitzroy clinic and bought my bras for afterwards.. But I haven’t bought a breast band. It hasn’t been mentioned but I’ve seen lots of pics of people wearing these post surgery?

    Can’t anyone advise? Do I need one?

    Hey chick the sugroen will give u one if he’s not said anything he may tape you up in sticky tape for a week which isn’t nice just call your PC and tell them u wAnt a chest band x

    I’m at the Fitzroy tomorrow, I asked my nurse and she said I did not need one so I just have a Macom for afterwards. X

    Normal it’s bands or strapping and sports bra it’s down your surgeon and wot he wants to do most just wake with it x

    I didn’t have a band or strapping, I did ask if I could buy a band but they said not to as I don’t need it and they need to drop naturally by themselves. It must depend on the person and the surgeon xx

    Hey I had mine on the 21st and woke up with a band that needs to be on for 6 weeks!! Don’t buy one they will put one on u if u need one! X

    Thanks everyone,

    So they just put the sticky tape stuff over them, I had drains too. I had vaser also and so had to go back at 48hrs to have the vaser checked etc so the nurse also took off the sticky tape and just put new dressings on the incisions and put them in a sports bra! I hope this was the right thing for her to do as I know usually you wait a week to do that! I have another appointment in a weeks time (so 9days post op) so hopefully all will be looking ok by then!

    Ouch Emma!!! Vaser too?! I just have a bit of strapping and then dressings and my Macom bra with a breast band so you should be fine. X

    Yea kate the vaser was worse recovery than the BA!! Lol c
