    Hey girls, I’m 12 days post op and I’m really struggling to sleep sitting up! I’m in so much pain with my back its unbearable.. When is it okay to sleep on your side? X

    My nurse said when you feel comfortable too and it’s not painful. I did at just over 2 weeks post op. I would definitely say sleep flat on your back now though x

    Not too sure about sleeping on the side but the nurse told me yesterday at my weeks post op appointment that it’s fine to sleep on my back instead of sitting up. I slept lots better last night and woke up still on my back xxx

    Do what makes you feel comfortable! I was sleeping on my side post op 2-3 weeks as my back was aching too much but if it’s uncomfortable on your side try and twist your legs a bit when your on your back, that helped me a bit xx
