Hi,

So I’m day 2 post op and have felt off it all day. Slept quite a lot and had my second antibiotic about an hour ago (not on an empty stomach). I’ve just vomited a lot and could see the antibiotic blue shell thing so have brought that back up too.

Please help ? do I ring the emergency number? Could this mean I have an infection?

Hi, yeah I’m on paracetamol and ibuprofen. So worried I’ve done damage from vomiting too and it was painful ? feeling so rubbish xx

Hey Hun, I know if you take ibuprofen on an empty stomach it can make you sick, paracetamol is fine but the ibuprofen really needs to be taken with food. Try not to stress too much, if your still not feeling well later maybe give the nurse a call. Hope you feel better soon xxx

Hi ? rang the nurse and she told me it’s most probably the antibiotics making me sick and to stop taking them but feel on edge about infection now. Very very sore today could barely sit up and woke up every hour through the night ? still feel nauseous and not managed to eat anything. Feeling a bit sorry for myself and questioning what I’ve done! X
