    Hello girlies,
Ive got my surgery next Wednesday (19/08) and I’m starting to get abut nervous about it all. Would anyone recommend what types of clothes I should be wearing on the day and whats best to bring with me for my operation? So excited to get my boobs done but so nervous at the same time, If anyone has any advice for me that would be great. xx

Hey hun, I had my op yesterday. I went in joggers and a hoody but they gowned me up straight away, I went home in these too as the hoody was baggy and zipped up at the front. Today uve worn a baggy onesie all day. Something loose that zips at the front that u can slide I to without being g tight around the arms as ur v restricted xx

Hey, I had my op on Saturday and I went there in just whatever I wanted to wear but bought a baggy hoody and kind of pyjama bottoms something easy to pull up. Don’t worry in bringing much with you though they provide paper pants, a gown, long socks and slippers for you to wear. Maybe bring a dressing gown something comfy to wait in but it isn’t necessary. Then I also bought laptop to keep myself entertained and a few magazines. Also phone charger and whoever is going with you make sure they bring some food as you could be waiting around a bit =). But honestly don’t worry I actually really enjoyed my day there the nurses were so nice and made me feel so relaxed.

I wore jeans and a button up shirt to go in, but you put your gown and knickers on straight away. I would take some slippers and a dressing gown with you to walk to theatre in. Also magazines, your phone, laptop etc. Its so scary isn’t it, I had mine on Wednesday and the whole journey there I was getting knots in my stomach the closer I got to the hospital, then I met my surgeon almost immediately and he told me I was first in, I was petrified but sooo excited as well. The scariest part is lying on the bed waiting for the anaesthetic to kick in but you’re asleep before you even go into theatre. The second you wake up with your new boobs you will just be in love and forget you ever felt nervous in the slightest. Good luck you’ll be fine xxxxxx
