    Hi girls. My surgery is Tuesday, I am so excited!! Just a quick question for those of you who are just day cases… Do you have to stay overnight in a hotel the night after having your op?

    Hi Evie my op was Tuesday and I stopped over in hotel after and then my boyfriend drove us back yesterday but it’s totally down to you x

    Thanks @xxxsaralouxxx I am really unsure what to do as I don’t know how I will feel after my surgery. My admission time is 1pm so done know if traveling home for 2 hours later that night will be a good idea ? xx

    @evie101 They won’t let you go home till you’re feeling ok hunni, I didn’t find the car journey home too bad and I took a pillow with my to put on my knee and rest my arms on but having said that I was only around 45 mins away from home. if you stay in the hotel make sure to take your v pillow with you lol Good luck xx

    I think you’ll be fine @evie101 and you can always have a sleep in the car. Nothing better than your own home comforts ? What size are you going for? Xx

    I have gone for 400cc @xxxsaralouxxx Mr Traynor is my surgeon. I hope I have gone big enough. That’s my one worry xx

    I’m not too bad thanks @misia still not sleeping great though. Just had a walk to the shops and back, my chest felt so heavy, was knackered when I got back lol sorry to hear you’re not feeling any better hunni xx

    Rubbish isn’t it @nikkistephenson1985 I have a permanent numb bum at the minute lol I’ve also tried putting a pillow under my legs too but doesn’t really make much difference. Strapping off tomorrow xx

    Heyyy guys I’m on day 3 post op and my one boob is constantly got a burning sensation have any of you got this? Literally my right side I cannot move! Xx

    Yeah @xxxsaralouxxx that was the biggest he said I could go but just reading other girls comments a few of them have said they wished they had gone bigger.
    I am hoping I am fine as I am flat chested xx

    @xxxsaralouxxx yes got ice pack on each boob I can’t breathe or move slightly without the burning pain Im sticking to pain killers but don’t think there strong enough ? xx

    Cassie, I forgot to say that my breathing is very bad all through this first week post-op. It’s all normal.

    Yes thank god not just me I have short breaths if i talk I have to pause because my chest is so tight I feel I can cope with most of it just really struggling with the burning as I am not getting a break from it xx

    @xxxsaralouxxx I actually thought I was dying lmao thanks for the reassurance I bet your relived it’s so tight! I haven’t put my Macom on as well the strapping is tight enough! Iv gota wait until Tuesday im just hoping the pain can’t get any worse! I’m just debating whether to take other pain killers with what they have gave me to see if it helps xx

    You’re welcome @knight I can’t wait although not looking forward to it being ripped off ? lol glad I only have a band and not full strapping. I swapped codiene for strong ibruprofen and paracetamol on Tuesday as the codiene was bunging me up ? lol xx

    I’m day 6 post op and have been fine had the strapping removed today and now I’m in lots of pain :(! So uncomfortable and incisions are hurting. Nurse said all is healing well now though. I’ve been told we can’t use ibuprofen as it thins your blood? I also keep getting headaches and migraines. Hoping tomorrow is better. Back to work tomorrow eeeeek ? xxx
