Hi girls, just wondering has anybody booked an over night stay for their ba? I’m booked in with Mr traynor 11th November as it was a late booking I got an over night stay for the same price but wondering if you have to stay over night if you get in at an ok time can you go home or not? Also what time do you usually have to arrive?

You only have an overnight stay if you have under the muscle or if the nurses believe you need to stay in after your surgery for whatever reason x

Ooh right, I’ve known people to have a day case with under the muscle implants. I did get offered a day case but the date was too late so I had to have a night slot I just want to know what time you can go and stuff’! As I don’t really want to stay over night but don’t think you can go if it gets too late ?!xx

I didn’t go with mya my stay was included in the price but I could not think of anything worse than going home the same day but that’s just my personal opinion if it’s free I would definitely use the overnight stay x

Would you? I don’t live too far away and every one else I’ve known have gone home it would just be easier for me to get a lift that night. Once I’m there il probably just want to stay to be honest but I don’t want to ask my boyfriend to take 2 days off work to take and collect me. I’m also worried as I’m 5ft2 just under 9 stone and currently an A and been offered 400cc high profiles under the muscle and I can’t find anybody in a similar position as me, I just don’t want to look stupid if they’re massive as I’m only small! xxx

I’m 5 ft 1 and 8 st I’ve got 520cc so honestly you will be fine and not too big! I lived about 40minutes from the hospital I just felt so relaxed in there and safer having the nurses look after me for the first night I was back in my room around lunch time as well I had blood pressure things on my legs most of the night too but woke up with no pain as the nurses give me antibiotics through a drip throughout the night so I would always recommend to anyone to stay over if they have the chance! Ooh thanks! What size were you to start off with and what size are you now? Il probably feel more comfortable staying it’s just awkward to find a lift back and stuff but I’m sure it will be fine. What time did you arrive at the hospital and what time did you go into theatre? Sorry for all the questions I’m just clueless xx

You can be discharged at 10am as long as they are happy with your blood pressure, pulse and that you have eaten and moved about. I was at London fitzroy so I’m going by my stay there. Not sure about other hospitals. I stayed overnight and I am so glad I did as I had a night to relax properly before going home and being left to it. I felt safe and calm but when I got home the questions and the anxiety kicks in incase something goes wrong. Take the overnight stay! You’ll be crazy not to! X

Exactly what Rachel said you get a good nights sleep without the worry cos you’ve got nurses checking on you I was at renacers in ormskirk (not sure on spelling) think my arrival time was 8am! I was a 36b before op after op I was a 36 e and now I measure at a 32 g! Don’t worry about all the questions I wish I had this site when I went through my op x

I think it depends if you have anyone at home with you! I never stayed over and id rather have the money for bras haha! My mum helped me and brought me drinks up and made food etc so aslong as you have someone on hand to help and fluff your pillows I don’t think you would need to. Also it’s only my opinion and depends what look you want but I think 350cc would be just fine for your frame if you’re only small. I’m 5ft2 and I had 325cc(not with Mya) but takes me to a D and they’re perfect size! Xxxx

Think mya charge extra for over night stay so may be worth looking at hotels near by? That might work out cheaper! It was included in my price didn’t have to pay any extra for overnight x

Mine was included in my price, it’s supposed to be £400 more I think but she was able to get me discount because I booked it only 2 weeks before my actual op. I do have somebody at home with me Jennifer but I’m not sure if they will actually let me go if I got there and didn’t want to stay, just because I booked an over night slot! Xxx

I couldn’t wait to leave and just get back to my own house, they are single beds which I don’t find very comfy and I find it hard to sleep in strange places so I think it just depends on your personal preference x

Has anybody booked an over night stay and asked to go home that night though? Everyone I have spoken to has said they went home the same day and have been fine but obviously I’ve booked a night slot and not sure what time il actually get out and stuff! Just really struggling to find a lift back the day after as I assumed I would be coming home the same day and it’s only a week away! Panicking a little bit that il be stuck there for 48 hours xx
