    Hi Courtney,
I am 6 days post op and it does get better. It is really hard work being so limited isn’t it? I was exactly the same, this morning though, I’ve woken up and it feels so much better all of a sudden! I have been desperate to roll my shoulders back too, I know exactly what you mean, I found the only way to make that feel slightly better was to prop cushions up on the sofa and lean back against them. I have been really itchy too, more under the band than anywhere, and when you cant move your arms it is really really frustrating!! I’ve used a wooden spoon to try to target it!!
    It does get better though!
I have been so bloated too, I look pregnant! Again, that does get better. I stopped taking the pain killers and just stuck to the antibiotics and muscle relaxers and that has helped.

Oh I’ve heard other people say that ice packs have been brilliant to help with the swelling, so maybe you could try that?

I hope you feel better soon, just rest assured, it does get better, although it may not seem like it yet.

I’m day 5 now and still really tight, sore and itchy. The itching has calmed down a lot thankfully but still very apparently especially around my incisions. But that’s good as it means they’re healing. The only relief I get from the pain is sitting against a load of cushions with a hot water bottle behind me and an ice pack on my chest xxx

For the band cutting your armpits get a sock and fold it over the band so it’s stopping the rubbing and cutting. I swore by this! X

I had itchiness too , I had a look under my dressings to check and it was just one of the stitches poking my skin in the end lol! Maybe try a different sports bra aswell I had to order the next size up after my op due to swelling and as soon as I put it on I could stand up straighter x

Hi Courtney.. Walking will get the swelling go down. Also avoid driving for at least 14 days post operation. I had my breast augmentation done in McLean Clinic , Mississauga. I was really worried in the beginning but 6 days post op everything was fine. Don’t worry you will feel better in a week. Or if swelling persists, consult your surgeon and seek his advice.
