Hi 🙂 yesterday once I had my op I felt fine! Hardly any pain and I was walking around like normal able to feed myself dress myself and all sorts (didn’t over do it) and today I’ve woke up really really sore and stiff. Also my sports bra has seemed to go really really tight is this ok? Having to un do it every couple of hours so I feel like I can breath. I had 400cc from a A cup and sports bra is 34E! So I didn’t think I’d need one bigger than this all my others are DD are can’t close them what so ever. If anyone can help or advice me 🙂 thanks xx

Yeah I think it’s normal because the exact same happened to me, I’m now 10 days post op but felt the worst the day after the op and a few days after that.. It’s probably because the anaesthetic is wearing off because it can take 24-48 hours depending on how you react to it.. Also you are probably quite swollen which is why your sports bra feels so tight… I have a Macom bra in a medium, have to keep 4 of the hooks undone and it still felt too tight lol… It gets easier after a few days though, just make sure you get plenty of rest and don’t overdo it xx

It was the the 2nd day for me! Had my op on Sunday and It was Tuesday that I woke up feeling like that. Really swollen and tender! My nurse called me yesterday and she said it’s perfectly normal for it to kick in a few days after! Xx

Aww thanks girls, it makes sense really to be bruised a day or two after. I’ve been told to get somebody to go and get me another sports bra in 36F! I was a 32a to start with and only had 400cc can’t believe I need one that big! My sister said she will go to Matalan for me and I can try a few of theirs and take the rest back. Just feel like it’s suffocating me and so sore on my stitches. Did your swelling go down after a few days like did your bras get bigger on you? As I was told they would get bigger after the swelling goes down as muscles relax but they look huge!! I couldn’t imagine them getting bigger I thought I would be a D at the most to be honest. Confused ? xxx

I’m still at the swollen stage – only had my op on Sunday, so everything is still tight on me too. I did have the asda surgery bra for the first day or so, but didn’t feel like it gave me much support. I’m now wearing my macom. Feels a bit like a straight jacket at times, but I feel it’s better support than the asda one. I’m struggling most with a swollen belly! The bottom of the bras keep rolling up!! Sooo annoying.

Aww I read about these macom bras but was too late to order one, I’m hoping these ones from Matalan are better! I thought the m&s ones would be the best as they look really supportive but they won’t even come close to closing they’re way to small for me I’m so shocked. Do you recon one that fasten at the back would be more supportive as zip on th front ?xxx
