I was wondering about this last night so sat there and googled it for a while. Apparently you only have to sleep at a 45 degree angle for 3-5 nights and after that you can sleep flat on your back, then most surgeons recommend to sleep on your back for as long as possible. I got told 6 weeks but I suppose they tell you a longer time to make sure you’re healed properly and everything don’t they. I’m going to ask the nurse on Tuesday when I go but tonight will be night 4 for me so I think il try sleeping a bit flatter cos I’ve had no sleep for the last 3 nights it’s killing me!xxx
