Just wanted to update for the girls feeling a bit rubbish and not liking their new ??! I’m just over 5 weeks post op and at first I loved them when they were swollen! As they started to change shape and reduce in size I felt like I didn’t get the look I wanted and felt like I wasted money on them and even commented on the “HATE THEM” post! Now another week has past they have changed and I’m again stating to life then as they have fluffed a bit more! I also went on my works do and wore a low cut dress! I was a bit naughty and didn’t wear my sports bra but it was only a few hours I stayed and I have religiously been wearing one all day and night! I got complimented by all my work friends on the size and shape and they all said they noticed a difference! Under clothes they do look smaller but at the end of the day you have the choice to be a bit more reserved and if you want to get them out for a night out you can! I can’t wait to see what they look like in a push up bra when I can finally get one! As I’ve been reading from girls who are further down the line than me, patient really is key and I can’t wait to Flaunt them at Christmas when they will drop and fluff even more! Hope the unhappy girls can relate to this and feel a bit more optimistic about this read! Happy 1st December ??☃??????????⭐️ Xxxxx

Awww thats so lovely to hear…. I was having a think the other day about why so many women have this ’emotional rollercoater’ after surgery – and i think that its generally because of the body literally looking different and the brain is literally getting used to it – almost like the minds ‘checking’ process of this ‘new thing on the body’ that makes it work overtime thinking ‘is it right? is it what i expected? are they too big? too small? etc etc” so I am going to be taking lots of photos of mine and think of that whole “what are they looking like now / how do I feel about the way they look today” process as the journey too so you are so right. My surgery is on Monday ( 6 sleeps ! eek) I am obviously wondering ‘ooooh!!!! wonder what they will be like” but to be honest I am so desperate to just be ‘normal’ i hate mind ( see my patient story and you’ll understand why! )

Anyway ….. enjoy them ! I literally can’t wait to wear clothes that i actually like and enjoy my body for the first time ever ! so excited !

Hiya Jennifer, that’s great to hear 🙂 I’ve been feeling similar and I’m nearly four weeks post op, so hopefully I’ll like mine more in a few weeks or so 🙂 x x

Hiya Lucy, one theory for the whole emotional roller-coaster is the concept of cognitive dissonance which is a stressor that is rooted in psychology/consumer behaviour. Basically, we all have expectations as to what we expect the end outcome of our breasts to look like but unfortunately we all have to wait varying amounts of time for our implants to settle. During that time because your breast won’t match your expections, this can cause you to the stress over if having implants was the right decision or not and so, seek out means of lowering this stress, like coming on this forum to see if others are having similar feeling and experiences 🙂 x x

@lucy-2 I know it’s the constant changing that gets you up and down! I think girls feel disappointed about size too because they’re getting used to them when really they have changed a lot! Good luck with you’re op! Hope everything goes well ? Xxx

@rebe I know that’s why I thought I’d share my post! You definitely need to just give it all time!! And if you don’t like them after 6 months then that’s fair enough but we’re all still in the early stages and not giving out bodies time to adapt! It’s definitely worth it, I’m so happy! ?
