Thanks for the replies, I was given cocodamol after leaving after my surgery but for some reason I am still in a lot of pain 8 days post op and was told to buy my own painkillers which should and is in the aftercare statement. I am happy with my results to a certain point but annoyed I had to do it all on my own when promised one of their ‘specialist patient coordinators’ would be there with me 100% of he way. I called and txt a lot before my surgery worried as I suffer with anxiety and was not put at ease or reassured plus most the time she never replied. It’s not the fact that anything is wrong with me it is just the lack of reassurance and help through what I feel is a massive decision I have made since wanting it done since I was 11yrs old. i explained at my post op my worries and concerns I am having just to be shut down and told everyone is different there’s nothing we can do!!! No reassurance or guidance no eff all.
