    Have my op booked for next week and just wondering can your partner stay at the hospital and wait while you have the op or is it worth them staying?x

    Mine did, I was only down there an hour! Some hospitals make them wait in a waiting room though xx

    Hey partners can stay I had partner best friend and parents and they even let my partner stay the night , that was at the Fitzroy xx

    Mine stayed with me i would have hated to be on my own as i was really nervous xx

    My bestie stayed with me (fella at home and mother and nan in nearby hotel as I was quite a distance away from home). The only time they asked my friend to leave the room was when I was being wheeled back in and to sort the room out for 5 mins 🙂 although she did get a little slap on the wrist for climbing in to bed with me before the op and watching tv (my surgeon said it was ok mind and the spooning calmed my nerves haha). This was Preston. It’s all down to what you prefer 🙂
