So my operation is booked in for 4th March, I am having 350cc HP (under muscle). Im going with Dr Kazzazi at Doncaster. Im currently around 5ft 7/8″ and just below 9 stone. I met Kazzazi on 12th January, and he said how much of a good patient I was and how I should get great results with my frame etc. Im currently around a 32B, but my BMI is underweight by the tiniest percent. They have let me go ahead and book in my surgery, 2nd consultation with Kazzazi & my pre-op with the Nurse. But now im starting to freak out that they will turn me away on the day of my op for being underweight or something. I know its a big thing in your life and there is so many mixed emotions so your going to have doubts, although don’t think Kazzazi would have said those comments if he wasn’t willing to go ahead with it, also i’ve not seen anyone have any issues with him, they have always been good reviews. I think I just need some reassurance because it all seems so surreal now and im starting to panic and get over excited! Haha, god I must sound like such a looser! x

My only advice is eat more! Haha I wish I got told to put on weight. You’ve got time to put on weight, if you don’t want to eat junk food just eat healthier food in bigger portions? xx

I already do eat healthily and I go to gym, I don’t look undernourished or an ill underweight (I don’t think!) its just because i’m quite tall and quite slim that it may seem that way. I’ve got all sorts of doubts going on in my head now because its actually happening!! Thankyou for your feedback, I really appreciate it!.. Have you had yours done already? xx

Yeah tbh I’m 5″6 and 9.5 stone atm and I was 9 stone last year and I wouldn’t say I was underweight at all haha. But you’re a bit taller than me and probably a lot slimmer. You’ll have your pre op anyway and they’ll weigh you and check your bmi is ok and they’ll go through any concerns with you. You’re welcome, I’m having my op this Sunday at the Fitzroy ?Xx

Hi Megan. I was thinking exactly the same last night actually. I’ve paid a deposit and booked my surgery for 29th March and have my pre op on 17th Feb. I’m a little nervous too as I can never put on weight and it took me a year to put on half a stone eating junk food. I’ve always been a few pounds off. Please can you let me know how you get along. My fingers are crossed for you. I think I’m just going to eat eat and eat to hopefully put on pounds. Haha.

Jodie – Good luck to you, I hope it all goes well. Let me know how you get on! xx

Joy – I’ve paid my deposit too so I’d like to think that they wouldn’t accept it if they wasn’t going to go ahead with it! As I said to Jodie, I don’t look underweight, its just because of my frame but my weight/height aren’t accurate what I gave them (it was just an estimate off the top of my head when they asked) but hopefully when I have my pre op (Feb 6th) it might add up normal. My mum said that I don’t have anything to worry about because it may just be if you are an unhealthy underweight if they wasn’t going to go ahead with it(such as eating disorder/anorexia etc). But as I mentioned the surgeon said I would be a good patient and get good results so I don’t think he has an issue, I think I might just be worrying for nothing because of being nervously excited! Im not as worried today as I was yesterday, I think I was just having an overthinking day but I cant get it off my mind now haha! – Where are you having yours done and which clinic are you at? x

    Hi megan,
Im near enough the same stats as you i’m 5’7, weigh around 8stone 9 but always is up and down to just under 9 stone and i’m also a 32b.
They never had any worry with my weight or anything like that, they just asked me does my weight seem to change alot and it never really does only a few pounds so it shouldn’t be a problem.
I feel like i’m in proportion aswell even though my bmi is also a little under but it is just where i am quite tall lol.
    Hope everything goes well!xx

    Hi Megan!

If it’s only by a tiny percentage and you don’t have an eating disorder and plus the surgeon said he’s happy to go ahead, don’t worry you’ll be absolutely fine hun! Jitters are normal. You’ll be fine don’t worry. Really excited for you! Hope it all goes well xxx

Thankyou Alia, 6 weeks today! Not that im counting I really cant wait. Im hoping my BMI adds up correctly when I go for my pre op but I would expect something to have been said by now if it was a problem. Thankyou for your kind words, it means a lot! xxx
