I had my op today and although I can’t see my boobs I can see and feel one of them is bigger than the other? like really bigger
I know I only had them done today but please tell me someone else has experienced this and it’s just swelling? Should I be worried ? ?

Hi Vicky. Congrats on your new boobies! I had my op this time last week and I woke up with the same. I had strapping on so couldn’t see much but I could definitely tell that my left one was bigger and more painful than my right. It’s gone down slightly since the day of the op but still bigger and more sore. I’m having my strapping off tomorrow so will see and raise the question with the nurse. But your not the only one, ive been panicking a lot too. Happy healing ? Xxx

Abi have you managed to have a bath on your first week? Have you stayed in your Macom all week? Like have you taken it off at all ?

    Sorry for the questions xx

Hi Vicky. Don’t be silly, it’s nice knowing your not the only one rather than feeling alone with it. It sounds gross but I’ve just washed with s flannel for the past week. I don’t think you can bath or shower until you’ve been given the go ahead at your week post op appointment with the nurse. I’ve not taken my Macom off once, mainly because ive been scared too because I was in so much pain. But it does get better. I just can’t wait to have my strapping off tomorrow and get reassurance from the nurse that my healing is going well and my problem boob is normal. How are you getting in so far? Xxx

    Hi Abi

Thanks for this, yeah I will be doing the same thing! This morning was in tears of pain, pain is so weird and I’ve had two children with no pain relief , thought I was stronger than this, hope it eases off soon. I struggled to sleep last night and this morning was hard to get up!

How was it having the strapping off? I’m dreading mine ?

    Vick X
