HELP – Weeping Skin Started by: Anonymous

    When I had my strapping taken off yesterday it tore some skin off with it. Since then, the skin is trying to heal but keeps ripping off and weeping no matter what I put on it. I left it just with a Macom on and it fused to that before tearing off, then I tried a dressing but it did the same.

    I’m worried it will get infected as it’s all open and leaking all the time, has anyone experienced this and has any advice on what I should do?

    Hiya Hun… I’m nearly 5 weeks post op one of my insiicions has healed amazing the other is still scabby and slightly green the same happened with me my bra pulled my scab off it weeped and weeped I was so worried I rang the nurse she said to keep it clean get done antiseptic wipes. If it doesn’t stop weeping dress it if you can but just to stop it so maybes keep it on god day then soak it off in the bath. Bath everyday but don’t let any soap or products in and use clean towels and bras for infection. Try not to worry but I know it’s easier said than done its awful Xx
