    I’m 5 days post op and haven’t been taking painkillers for 3 days now, just my antibiotics. They’re giving me side effects including dizziness and nausea. I haven’t had any today yet as I feel sick at the thought of taking them, has anyone else not completed the full week course, and what risks are there if I stop now? They’re making me feel really awful! Thanks xxx

    I think they are making me sick too. I’m nauseous all the time. I haven’t been taking the pain killers at all so it can only the the antibiotics.

    I read bad things about not finishing doses of antibiotics so I’m going to finish them just incase. I’ve only got two days more of them

    I’ve only got two more days too Adele, I’m just having to bite the bullet and take them even though they’re making me feel awful! Yeah Pauline I’ve generally been having them before food ☺️ Don’t wanna have any complications so I suppose I’ll just finish the course! Xxx

    @ashleigh I’ve been reading up about the antibiotics I got and the common nausea , stomach pain, heart burn, diarrhoea and anxiety
    I’m on cefalexin. I felt fine all afternoon and I’ve just taken my 2nd dose today and feel dreadful now. It’s definitely the antibiotics that are doing it.

    Hang in there. Only two more days.

    I took them for 2 days. Each time with like a biscuit or some toast. Ended up with such bad pain and was wretching but not being sick. Was so poorly. Rang my GP who said to stop taking them as theyre a preventative and if I got an infection we would deal with it then. Ring your gp and ask advice xx

    @ashleigh how are you feeling now?

    I took my last dose of antibiotics last night and still feel awful this morning

    Hoping it will subside soon.

    I took my full course of antibiotics , I’ve had co-codinoil in the past and it made me feel sick , hence the reason why I decided not to take it . I took ibrupofen & parocetamoil for pain relief.
