    Hi girls, I’m SOOOO swollen and in lots of pain. Has anyone used ice packs at all to bring the swelling down? I’m a bit scared incase they make my dressings damp! Xxx

    @naomi I bought these ice packs

    They have a sleeve you out over them once you take them out of the freezer do you don’t get your clothes damp.
    I was told only to ice the top and side of my boobs. Not near the incisions.

    @cornishnaomi I just used frozen peas! I got a couple of freezer bags and poured half a small bag of peas into each bag, then rested them on my boobs (20 mins on, 10 mins off) x

    I used frozen peas to Hun, take a look at my pics, I was really swollen on day 9 used ice all day on day 10 and it worked amazingly x x x

    i put broken ice into plastic bags but wrapped it in a tea towel. it did really help. although i found it weirdly painful as the cold just didn’t feel good on me but it did help a lot so was worth it x
