Swabs pre op question Started by: Samantha

Hi girls, i had my pre op last week but my pc booked me in for my pre over 7 weeks before my surgery, to take swabs it needs to be 6 weeks or under before surgery as the bacteria only lasts a certain amount of time so i have to go back next week. What happens if they detect something with the swabs? Has anyone had this? X
