I finally have boobies!! Going to break my day down as I always used to read people’s stories before I had my op! My admission time was 12pm at Preston hospital and I was greeted and shown to my room. All of the nurses were so nice and made you feel so comfortable! She came in went through all the paperwork, did a pregnancy test and said mr Traynor was running behind and my op would be around 3pm. The annethetist came and introduced himself and he was lovely then Mr Traynor came to confirm my implant size and make me sigh the consent. I finally went down to theatre at about 4pm and woke up briefly in the recovery room then fully woke up when I was back in my room and asked to slide back onto my bed. I was worried about being put to sleep but th staff were so lovely and before I knew it I had boobs! When I woke up I wasn’t in any pain just an ache in my breast bone. The nurse kept popping in and taking my blood pressure and said I can leave 3 hours after me coming back from theatre. The tea and toast was amazing and I was able to go home around 8pm. I slept ok and woke up with an ache like I had pulled something in the gym, I’ve had pain killers every 4 hours to keep on top of getting any pain and still now I’m just aching, the pain is nothing like I expected it’s really manageable. Hope people can use this to calm their nerves and look forward to getting their boobies!! I was a 32a/b and now I’m so in love with my new assessts!xxx
