    Hi ladies

    I’ve got my 6 week check up next week and I’m so excited to see what the girls look like in a normal bra!

    Do you get measured at the 6 week check up by the nurse or do I need to go somewhere afterwards to get measured? Xxx

    I had my 6 weeks post op last Tuesday . After my check up and I got the all clear from my nurse I went to Marks & Soencers and got measured for new bras …. ( The nurse does not measure you )

    I was hoping they would measure us but they don’t.my nurse said best place to get measured is marks and Spencer’s xx

    This may sound like a daft question but when you get measures for the first time do they just measure you without a bra!? Hope that doesn’t sound silly ? I’ve never been measured for a bra in my life as I’ve always been an a cup! xx

    No Tracey that’s not silly at all! I’ve never been measured in my life either as I was an AA. Anyway I got to six weeks post op and put off getting measured for ages! I was too embarrassed to take off my sports bra and just stand there for some reason. Anyway one day I plucked up the courage.. Went to get measured and she just said take your top off and leave your bra on! Loool measured my back size with the measuring tape and then jus looked at me and said DD maybe an E. Il go get a few bras for you to try on so we can see and that was it!xx

    Aww brilliant! Thanks Ellie! I suppose they see it all the time anyway these days so they’ll be used to it! I’m almost at the 3 week mark so halfway there lol xx

    Yeah so used to it! Soon as she saw I was wearing a sports bra she said how many weeks post op are u in presuming you had a breast enlargement n I was like yeah I have lol she said she gets loads of girls coming in after ba xx
