    Hi ladies,
    I’ve just had my 6 weeks post op with the nurse (despite only being 5.5weeks post op) I thought I’d tell everyone the advice I was given about what I can and can’t do since those questions are asked a lot here.

    I can wear normal bras!!

    I can go swimming/spa. (Because my incisions are sealed now)

    Fake tan is ok but not on incisions

    Must wear factor 30 or 50 sunscreen in between my breast/cleavage line if I am in the sun because that skin will be stretched and very sensitive for next few months

    I can sleep lying down but cannot sleep on my side for another month because the implants are still settling into place 🙁

    I can go to the gym but start as a beginner again. Very lightweights.

    I can go running but need to have a VERY supportive bra(not one that pushes my boobs together) in fact she recommended wearing two sports bras! I plan on wear my Macom underneath my regular sports bra.

    I went and got a bra fitted straight away. I was expected a C or D since I only got 275cc and was shocked when they said I’m a 32DD (and only their full bust bras fit. Normal 32DD are too small) I can’t believe it!!

    Hope you ladies find this useful.

    @adele, aaaah thanks for this- so good to know. Sat here resting up on POD4 and excited now that I’ve got this to come! Ace news about your size, that’s such a great result. Did the nurse recommend any particular make for the supportive sports bra? I’m already wanting to plan getting back to running! Xx

    @Helen I was an empty 34B although I’m guessing I wasn’t wearing the right bra size then.

    @sarahh
    she didn’t mention a specific bra. She said it had to support me fully ie so my boob don’t bounce and not the ones that push your boobs together. She did say my m&s bra I was wearing fit me well.
    It was this one

    @adele, thanks chicken. Once I have better idea of what size I’ll be I’ll invest! Xx
