    Hi girls,

I’m currently in the research stages and haven’t seen anybody mention anything about having asthma? I know it may sound like a stupid question as lots of people have it but I was just wondering if there was any problems people with asthma had occurred? I’m also allergic to a lot of medication, i.e. Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Naproxen (all the anti inflamitary drugs) and didn’t want this to affect the surgery or recovery.
Do they ask at your consultation if you suffer from conditions such as asthma, or if you are allergic to anything? If so has anyone answered yes and had a problem?!

I’m probably just thinking too much in to it but any advice would be much appreciated!

    Thank you in advance x

Yes they do ask you if tou are allergic to any medication and also if you have asthma a lot of questions but I’m sure you will be fine . I’m booked in for my op but I’m scared to see the nurse for pre op x

I’m the same… Allergic to naproxen and all antibiotics with penicillin in. You’ll just discuss your allergies with the nurse and they request relevant info from your GP. Sure you’ll be fine so don’t overly worry xxx
